About Triple Sun
Their founder Kristofer Kwant’s bright ideas regarding the creation of a true small batch distillery, started to ferment more than fifteen years ago when he and his father started home brewing beer together. What started as a hobby quickly turned into an obsession to engineer a better process and in turn, a search of the perfect brew. After winning competitive accolades and then eventually becoming a certified beer judge, Kristofer leaped into the world of spirits and took his passion to a whole new level.
By partnering with other distilleries, performing exhaustive research and traveling extensively throughout the US and Caribbean in search of the secrets to more authentic spirits, Kristofer gathered the building blocks that laid the foundations for a community-based artisanal distillery formed upon a sustainable and environmentally responsible business model. Eventually, Kristofer chose to sink his roots in the vibrant and peaceful community of Emmaus, Pennsylvania. Beaming with excitement and nestled near his home in the beautiful Lehigh Valley, Kristofer named the distillery Triple Sun after his three sons Nicolas, Joseph, and Keegan. The joy his three sons have brought him shine radiantly through each lovingly hand-crafted batch of spirits as a legacy to his children.
